SlamZ is provided by Maas Infotech and Consulting, the developer responsible for the SlamZ app listing.

This Privacy Policy applies to the SlamZ mobile app, in-app legal pages, public website policy pages, account deletion and support pages, account features, slambook features, template features, Tea Room discussion features, push notifications, and related backend services.

Information We Collect

Account information: phone number, first name, last name, profile photo, authentication identifiers, account status, login/session data, and policy acceptance records.

Content you create or receive: templates, slambooks, questions, responses, shared names, profile photos, uploaded media, and related metadata needed to display and deliver those features.

Recipient and invitation information: phone numbers, display names, request status, slambook recipient records, and delivery-related metadata for people you choose to add or invite.

Camera, microphone, photo library, and media information: photos, videos, voice recordings, filenames, media metadata, and upload records only when you choose to capture, record, select, upload, or attach media in supported features.

Notification and device information: Android push notification permission status where available, app version, generated device registration ID, Firebase Cloud Messaging token, notification delivery metadata, and device or app identifiers needed to register, deliver, route, and disable push notifications.

Technical and safety information: diagnostics, logs, request metadata, device or app identifiers where used by the app or its service providers, security events, abuse-prevention signals, and service reliability data.

Contacts And Phonebook

SlamZ requests contact permission only when you choose to use the phonebook contact picker. You can use manual phone number entry instead.

If you grant contact permission, SlamZ reads contact names, phone numbers, and available contact images on your device so you can search your phonebook and choose who to invite or add to a crew.

SlamZ does not publish your full phonebook and does not upload non-selected contacts. Only the display name and phone number you choose to add or invite are sent to SlamZ services.

SlamZ does not sell your contacts, phonebook information, account information, or other personal and sensitive user data.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, show profiles, deliver slambooks, add recipients, sync selected content, publish and use templates, provide support, and keep the service reliable.

We use notification tokens and related metadata to send transactional and administrative push notifications, such as slambook requests, slambook responses, Tea Room messages or replies, and service announcements, and to open the relevant in-app screen when you tap a notification.

We use information for safety and integrity purposes, including spam prevention, abuse prevention, moderation, account protection, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and investigation of reports.

We may use diagnostics and app performance information to monitor app health, fix bugs, improve reliability, and understand which features need improvement.

Sharing And Service Providers

SlamZ uses trusted service providers to operate the app, including Amazon Web Services for hosting, authentication, backend services, database, and file storage, and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for Android push notification delivery.

SlamZ may use other service providers for diagnostics, build, deployment, support, compliance, safety review, and service reliability.

Service providers process data for SlamZ based on our instructions and for app functionality, security, support, diagnostics, compliance, and service reliability.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate notice where required.

We do not sell personal and sensitive user data.

Security

SlamZ uses modern transport security, such as HTTPS, when transmitting data between the app and backend services.

We limit access to personal and sensitive user data to the systems and people that need it for app functionality, support, security, compliance, or service operations.

No app or internet service can guarantee perfect security, but SlamZ uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect account data and app content.

Retention And Deletion

SlamZ keeps account information and app content for as long as needed to provide the service, support users, maintain security, comply with law, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse.

You can request account deletion from Profile settings by choosing Delete Account and confirming the request.

If you cannot access the app, you can request account and associated data deletion from the public account deletion page on the SlamZ website or by emailing support@slamz.in.

SlamZ aims to review and complete accepted deletion requests within a reasonably quick period, subject to identity verification, operational limits, backups, security needs, legal requirements, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and compliance obligations.

After a deletion request is accepted, SlamZ removes or anonymizes account data and associated content unless limited retention is required for security, legal, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, backup integrity, or compliance reasons.

Notification device registrations and push tokens associated with the deleted account are disabled or removed as part of account deletion, except where limited retention is required for security, abuse prevention, legal, or compliance reasons.

Policy Updates

SlamZ may update this Privacy Policy when the product, legal requirements, service providers, data practices, or safety features change.

When a material policy update requires renewed acceptance, SlamZ may ask you to review and accept the latest Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and Community Guidelines before continuing to use the app.
